Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of personal information related to Locwise software, AI, and WhatsApp Business services. The full privacy policy is available at https://locwise.com/en/privacy-policy/.

1. WhatsApp / Meta end users

If you conversed on WhatsApp with a business that uses Locwise services, that business is usually the controller of the information. You should first contact the business you spoke with and ask it to delete or provide access to the information.

You may also send a request to Locwise. In that case we will forward the request to the relevant business customer, or handle it directly if we are the controller of the requested information or if the law requires us to do so.

2. How to submit a deletion request

  1. Email info@locwise.com.
  2. Use the subject: Data Deletion Request.
  3. Include the identifying details listed in section 3 below.

You may also call 077-6704800 or 054-7982472, but a written email request allows better documentation and handling.

3. Information required to identify the data

To locate and delete the relevant information, please include:

  • Full name (if relevant)
  • The phone number used on WhatsApp in international format (for example 9725xxxxxxxx)
  • The name of the business/organization you communicated with (if known)
  • Meta or Facebook account ID — only if known and relevant to the request
  • A short description of the request (full deletion / specific conversation / access before deletion)
  • A reply email address

Do not send in the first request a copy of an ID card, a password, a verification code, or sensitive content from the conversation. If additional verification is required, we will contact you separately.

4. Expected response time

  • Acknowledgement of receipt: within 7 business days.
  • Handling the request (forwarding to the business customer, deletion, or a reasoned response): within 30 days of receiving an identified request.

5. What may be deleted

Subject to our role and applicable law, Locwise may delete or anonymize:

  • WhatsApp conversation content, conversation identifiers, and metadata related to the stated number
  • Images, documents, and voice recordings stored for the service (if copies exist with us)
  • System logs that can reasonably be associated with the user, subject to log-retention periods

7. Business customers

A business customer requesting export or deletion of conversations and service data may email info@locwise.com. Handling time: up to 30 days. After contractual termination, conversation and media data held by Locwise will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, subject to legal retention duties.
